- Obiettivi: The course has the purpose to provide an analysis of Italian Private Law, focused on the Tort Law, which is a fundamental yet controversial part of our legal system. The course aims at sketching the basic features and the general principles of Italian Tort Law, having regard to the EU law developments, in a comparative light as well, to give grounding and perspective to the Italian approach and to assess the most important trends and issues. It is designed to outline the fundamentals while, at the same time, identifying some of complexities of modern tort law; the main goal is to provide a framework for reflection and analysis about the current state of Tort Law and its recent developments.
