Obiettivi: A comprehensive insight about Intellectual Property (IP) law and management in pharmaceutical industry, addressing in particular, different types of IP, patentable subject matter, procedure for filing patent applications with special focus on European IP laws and regulations. The course focuses on patents, since they bring main economic value to innovative companies. IP technology transfer and licensing are discussed with examples of patents and case studies of drug commercialization.
