  • Obiettivi: The course provides the methodologies affine to automation and control to simulate, predict, estimate and optimize production process and generic dynamical systems. The student will learn how to evaluate in closed form the solution of linear differential/difference equations (linear dynamical systems) using the Lagrange formula, homogenous solutions, Laplace and Zeta transforms. The reachability and observability of dynamical systems will be introduced in order to proceed with control design and estimation tools. The Lyapunov theory to analyze the stability of equilibria for linear and nonlinear systems is introduced. A short introduction to identification and optimization techniques as to complete the competences of the student within this area are provided.
